Judy Williams
Meeting Strategies
With twenty years of experience organizing international conferences and contributing hundreds of columns and articles for many leading industry-related publications, Judy Williams is a well known and dedicated meetings consultant and journalist. Currently, Williams writes two columns for ConventionSouth Magazine (Covey Publications) and operates her firm, MeetingStrategies, a full-service meeting management and public relations firm, specializing in meeting contract negotiations and communications.
In 1985, Williams co-founded Classic Consulting International Inc.(CCI), a conference management company specializing in the high-tech industry. Williams moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1988 to better facilitate the company's ever expanding U.S. client base. Under Williams' leadership, CCI organized close to four hundred conferences in the United States, Europe and Canada while she continued to publish professional features and columns within the industry.
Williams has been a feature writer and columnist for such publications as: Meetings & Conventions, Corporate Meetings & Incentives, Business Travel News, Meetings & Incentive Travel, Incentive, Meetings in the West, and others.
Williams' extensive conference planning experience and profile as a writer within the meetings industry has lead to many speaking engagements and her upcoming book, "Top Tips" for other industry professionals.
Judy Williams graduated from the British Columbia Institute of Technology in 1980 with a Diploma of Technology in Hospitality Management and spent five years in the Masters of Liberal Arts Program at Stanford University.
