Telemarketing Responsibility - Compliance in Today's Market

Across many industries, the telephone has always been a powerful marketing tool. In the wake of Do Not Call legislation, the future of telemarketing belongs to those who embrace the principles of compliance and permission marketing. The National Do-Not-Call is here to stay, but the news isn't all bad. The regulation requires companies to comply but also allows them to call consumers under several conditions. This audio conference clearly explains how you can be in compliance, while thriving within the reality of today's highly regulated environment.

Presenters and Panelists

Jon Hamilton
CEO,
Authtel Permission Solutions

Jon Hamilton is a thirty year telemarketing industry veteran who founded Authtel on the idea that, for the foreseeable future, telemarketing will be most effectively used as a permission-based tool - much like e-mail. Authtel Permission Solutions has been established to help companies persuade former customers who are on the National Do-Not-Call List not only to agree to receive telemarketing calls, but also to state the manner and frequency in which they are called.

Mr. Hamilton's experience includes more than 31 years in the teleservices and customer relationship management industry. Prior to forming Authtel, his career included the design and management of telemarketing programs and operations for many leading companies. Mr. Hamilton is Past National President of the American Teleservices Association (ATA) and Past Chairman of the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) Telephone Marketing Council. He was the 2001 recipient of the DMA's Teleservices Excellence Award.
